studio the welcome screen
A one-person design studio for posters, books, and the occasional small website — based wherever the printer is open.
Tom is a graphic designer who works mostly with cultural and editorial clients. The studio runs at the pace of a small print shop: a handful of projects a year, each one carried from sketch through proof through final delivery by one set of hands.
For new work, a brief letter at [email protected] is the right entrypoint. For everything else, the four tiles to the left are the whole site.
Selected work, lately
Twelve cassettes for thirteen nights
a hand-bound mixtape catalogue, riso-printed in four passes.
postersmall jazz festival, summer
a 12-poster identity for a neighbourhood festival; mustard and ink only.

identitya café called Roundabout

Currently
Finishing a hand-bound zine of marginalia from old type specimens, and slowly redrawing the studio's site (the one you're on). Open to small commissions through the rest of the season.
